Ceramic matrix composites offer exceptional wear resistance, thermal stability, low density and improved fracture toughness, making them suitable for demanding applications across automotive, aerospace, energy and other industries. Their widespread adoption depends on developing cost-effective manufacturing techniques. This training course explores their material engineering, successful product developments, current capabilities and limitations.

Walter Pritzkow (Walter E. C. Pritzkow Spezialkeramik) will deliver a course on design options, especially on the clip design used within out ASTERIx-CAESar project.
